We offer a one month, no quibble replacement policy, if our staff are unsuitable, we simply replace them, leaving you to get on with the task of running your business. We always take a copy of each employee's passport or national identity card, if they are from another EU country. We take care of the legalities, again leaving you to concentrate on your business. We deal with Home Office registration, arranging bank accounts, registration with local doctors and National Insurance and ensuring general, personal and social support. People who feel ‘at home’ are likely to stay longer and be happier at work. We understand this and help them to settle in from day one.
ERA, through its sister Company Skills Provision Limited, is regulated under the Gangmaster Licensing Act 2004. This provides the workforce with legal protection and, as such, we provide each worker with a bespoke contract. Any worker living in company controlled property will also require a licence to occupy that property. Again, this is something that we take care of.
Our primary experience as a recruitment company is dealing with Polish nationals although we also work with Slovaks, Portuguese, Hungarians and British Nationals. The right person is the right person, regardless of their nationality. Our administration is second to none and allows us to be extremely flexible. You pay us a single rate for hours actually worked. We pay holiday pay, employer’s National Insurance, plus deal with any sick pay and maternity/paternity issues. To make that clear, you pay us for hours worked – we deal with the rest. We choose to employ a firm of accountants to handle the entire payroll - we are experts in finding staff, they are experts in ensuring they are paid the right amount. The accountants also deal with HMRC, with each worker receiving an individual pay slip, all payments are made directly to bank accounts and we even deal with VAT. This means that there is no possibility of claims against you. We choose to understand the various rules, regulations and procedures, so you don’t have to.
